Why Thyme Care Succeeds Where Value-Based Care Has Fallen Short

Summary: Thyme Care is advancing value-based oncology care by combining population-level data infrastructure, proactive care management, and deep partnerships with oncology practices to improve outcomes while reducing costs. Using real-time insights from claims data, electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePROs), and clinical systems, the model identifies high-risk patients early and intervenes before complications escalate. This approach has led to measurable results, including reductions in emergency department visits, hospital admissions, and readmissions, while enhancing care coordination across more than 1,400 oncologists and national payer partners. By focusing on continuous, between-visit patient support, Thyme Care is delivering a more effective and scalable model for value-based cancer care.

Many ask, how does Thyme Care, as a VBC company, continue to grow and succeed in this world? Why do we continue to forge ahead?
