NASHVILLE, TN—October 15, 2025—Thyme Care, the leading value-based oncology company, today announced the appointment of Jeff Lovesy as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Commercial Partnerships, marking a key step in the company’s next stage of growth. As Thyme Care expands its work with oncology practices nationwide, Lovesy’s leadership will strengthen how the company partners with providers to improve drug affordability, enhance access to evidence-based therapies, and deliver greater value across the cancer care ecosystem.

A recognized subject matter expert in oncology distribution strategy, commercial operations, and patient services, Lovesy has led high-impact teams and initiatives for some of the industry’s most respected organizations. He has held senior leadership roles at Eagle Pharmaceuticals, Heron Therapeutics, Cardinal Health, and Flatiron Health. Across these organizations, he has led provider-facing initiatives and national commercial teams focused on improving access to oncology and supportive care therapies. His work has consistently focused on strengthening partnerships between manufacturers and oncology practices, as well as advancing innovative models that make care more efficient, accessible, and affordable.

“Jeff’s appointment reflects the next phase of growth as we continue to scale nationally,” said Robin Shah, co-founder and chief executive officer of Thyme Care. “Drug costs are one of the biggest drivers of cancer care spending, and we believe affordability has to start with solutions that work for providers. His leadership and experience will help us scale those efforts and create even more value for both practices and patients.”

Oncology practices face increasing pressure from rising drug costs, complex contracting models, and administrative burdens that divert time away from patient care. Lovesy’s leadership will directly address these challenges by strengthening Thyme Care’s partnerships with oncology practices and expanding the reach of its proven model. He will oversee the Thyme Care Oncology Partners (TCOP) team and lead a new commercial organization focused on deepening provider engagement and advancing value-based interventions that improve access, affordability, and performance. Through TCOP’s national network of now over a thousand oncologists, Thyme Care embeds care teams, analytics, and operational support within practices to reduce unnecessary utilization, enhance the patient experience, and drive measurable value in cancer care.

“Community oncology is at a crossroads,” said Lovesy. “Practices are under more pressure than ever, especially when it comes to managing the cost and complexity of cancer drugs. They need partners who truly understand those realities and can help make treatments more affordable and accessible for patients. Thyme Care is already making an impact for practices and patients, and there’s an incredible opportunity ahead to build on that progress and help more providers deliver the kind of high-quality, sustainable cancer care their communities deserve.”
