Nashville-based oncology company Thyme Care has named Brad Diephuis as chief executive officer.
Diephuis previously served as the company’s president and chief operating officer.
Relatedly, Thyme co-founder Robin Shah has transitioned to the role of executive chairman to lead the company’s efforts involving drug affordability, clinical trial access and care alignment.
The two changes will take effect on Sept. 1.
In addition, the 2020-founded Thyme has added Marcia Macphearson as chief operating officer, effective immediately.
Co-founder Bobby Green will continue in his role as president and chief medical officer.
The personnel moves come after Thyme announced in September 2025 a $97 million Series D funding round. As the Post reported at the time, the late-stage venture capital funding effort was led by existing investors CVS Health Ventures, Foresite Capital, a16z Bio + Health, Concord Health Partners, Town Hall Ventures, AlleyCorp and Frist Cressey Ventures, according to a release.
New investors included Morgan Health, a division of JPMorganChase focused on employer-sponsored health care, as well as Humana, Texas Oncology and Memorial Hermann Health System.
Diephuis is a primary care physician who joined Thyme Care in 2022. He previously served as a senior advisor at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), where he contributed to the design of ACO REACH and other value-based care models.
Macphearson brings 25 years of health care experience to her new role with Thyme, having most recently served as chief commercial officer at Imagine Pediatrics.
In the first half of 2026, Thyme Care added three health plan partners and furthered its relationships with national Medicare Advantage.
The Thyme Care platform is available to 10.5 million Americans in all 50 states and manages $6 billion of oncology spend.
