Summary:
Thyme Care has promoted Dr. Brad Diephuis to chief executive officer as the oncology care company restructures its leadership team to support continued growth and the launch of new business initiatives.
The leadership changes, effective Sept. 1, position co-founder Robin Shah as executive chairman, where he will focus on developing new business lines in areas including drug affordability, clinical trial access and care coordination. Shah will continue to oversee the company’s long-term strategy while supporting the transition.
Diephuis, who joined Thyme Care in 2022 and currently serves as president and chief operating officer, will lead the company’s core business. A primary care physician and cancer survivor, he previously served as a senior advisor at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, where he helped develop value-based care models, including ACO REACH.
“For too long, the responsibility for what happens in cancer care has been spread across so many parties that no one is connecting the dots for the person living through it,” Diephuis said. “As CEO, I am committed to making sure that every patient, clinician, and health plan we work with experiences a system that finally moves together.”
