Thyme Care at Light the Night Nashville 2023

Every 3 minutes, one person in the US is diagnosed with leukemia or lymphoma. Four year old Jarvis is one of those numbers. In February 2020, Jarvis and his family heard the four words you never want to hear: “you have cancer”. The profoundness of Jarvis’ Pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia diagnosis echoed loudly in their ears.

Through stays in the hospital, having to relearn how to walk, and many other hurdles, Jarvis stayed strong through it all. Jarvis was officially declared in remission in late 2022. It's been a long journey for him and his family, but they are so happy to see him living life as a normal seven-year-old now..

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is one organization that is tirelessly working to support patients like Jarvis, and striving towards a world without blood cancers. Their flagship event, Light the Night, gathers thousands of people across the country each year to walk for a cure and to find ways to address the pain points of the patient experience.

Last Friday, Nashville was one of the cities that came alive with an outpouring of support and hope from individuals, families, loved ones, and friends to support Light the Night Nashville. As a local company headquartered in Nashville, we were proud participants and sponsors of the event. It was an evening filled with unity, inspiration, and the shared determination to bring light to the darkness of cancer.

We had the privilege of hosting a hydration state along the route, where participants of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life came together to raise awareness and funds. The energy in the air was palpable, with friends, families, and supporters gathering to make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by blood cancers.

As we watched people of all ages taking strides along the illuminated path, it was impossible not to be moved by the unity and hope that enveloped the event. The determination and dedication of every participant were a testament to the unwavering spirit of the human heart. It was a reminder that together, we can overcome the most challenging of obstacles.

These moments, like our participation in Light the Night, serve as a powerful reminder of the collective impact we can have on transforming cancer care. We believe in a future where innovative healthcare solutions and unwavering community support will lead to better outcomes for cancer patients.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated organizers of Light the Night Nashville. Their tireless work and commitment to the cause made this event an unforgettable experience for all. We also want to express our gratitude to everyone who joined us and contributed to this worthy cause. Your support is a beacon of hope for those affected by blood cancers and brings us one step closer to a world without these devastating diseases.
