Thyme Care Lands on Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces for 2023

At Thyme Care, we believe our people-first value system and dedication to providing high quality care is what makes our company a workplace destination for top-tier talent. Our mission to provide the best cancer care experience is core to our business, which wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and support of our team.

So today, we’re thrilled to announce that Thyme Care has been named as one of Inc. Magazine’s highest-ranking businesses on its annual ‘Best Workplaces’ list for 2023. The list is the result of a comprehensive measurement of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company culture, whether operating in a physical or a virtual facility.  Each company that was nominated took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum  Workplace, which included topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth, and overall company culture. The organization’s benefits were also audited to determine overall score and ranking.

Here is what employees shared about working at Thyme Care.

1. Thyme Care puts people first, always.
Whether it's the patients we serve or the team we work with, it’s people that make what we do possible. Our holistic benefits package supports employees through all stages of life: working parents receive 16 weeks paid parental leave, grieving employees have access to bereavement time, and all employees have PTO to take the time they need to get outdoors, travel, and spend time with family and friends.

2. Thyme Care intentionally fosters collaboration, both online and in person.
Connected employees are happy employees, so we host group lunches, both in-person and virtual. We also prioritize internal knowledge sharing with Thyme to Talk, where team members share their passion and expertise on topics from social media strategy to the basics of oncology.

3. Thyme Care invests in developing people managers.
Highly effective managers are essential to Thyme Care’s success, and we believe management is not an “add-on” to an individual’s responsibilities, but a distinct career path. We’re rolling out a program that will support managers in core competency areas including goal setting, courageous conversations, delegation, building trust, and great feedback. From the top down, our managers model a people-first value system that prioritizes shared accountability and work-life boundaries.

From our CEO and co-founder Robin Shah, “We fundamentally believe people are our greatest asset, and our culture reflects that. It’s an honor for our team to be recognized as one of Inc.’s Best Workplaces as we strive to build a destination for top talent.”

From  Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk, “Being named to Best Workplaces is an honor that only a small fraction of companies have  been able to claim. Proving to the world that you’re a magnet for talent and have a culture that keeps teams engaged, productive, and proud to come  to work is a truly remarkable achievement.”
